That’s especially the case for multi-day travel where the trip participants (travelers) get to really immerse themselves. Passionate travel organizers make this magic happen and WeTravel is here to support those travel companies. We help them publish their trip offerings, generate leads and follow through to convert them to bookings, process payments around the world, pay suppliers/vendors, and digitize their operations. This helps multi-day travel organizers get more bookings, save time, and save money.

About the role

This role is all about helping travel organizers manage trip participants through their lifecycle from the first website visit to leaving a 5-star review after the trip. This broad domain currently includes:

1/ Before booking:

Traffic and conversion tracking for organizers’ trips published on WeTravel.
Various website widgets that help organizers generate “leads” and enable instant bookings.
CRM functionalities to help organizers follow up with those leads, nurture them, and convert them to bookings.
Pricing and discount management to help organizers maximize bookings while maintaining a healthy margin.
Lightweight payment link to help organizers quickly collect deposits or other payments while the participant is “ready to buy” (this role focuses on making the link creation and distribution quick and easy, while a different team is leading our increasingly powerful “payment tech stack”).

2/ After booking:

eSignature functionality (our own DocuSign) to help participants agree to the organizer’s purchase terms and liability waivers (critical for those adventurous trips).
Participant to do list with automated reminders to help organizers collect dietary restrictions, pictures of passports, and other necessary information before the trip.
Participants’ ability to one-click create a GoFundMe-style page to raise contributions for that bucket list trip.
Participants’ ability to leave reviews after the trip.

We are looking for an experienced, generalist product manager to lead this broad domain end-to-end. You will deeply study travel organizers’ needs, prioritze them, come up with solutions (or hypothesis to test), lead all necessary functions to build and launch the solutions, drive adoption, and ultimately grow our revenue (and profit). In this high-impact and high-visibility role, you will report to our VP of Product (who reports to the CEO) and work directly with the company leadership on a weekly basis.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate would bring a track record of exceptional results and well-rounded product management skill set (especially the ability to break down any problem and drive high-velocity execution). As long as you have the skillset and growth mindset, we’re flexible on the seniority leveling for this role (PM, senior PM, and lead PM) and will provide the right level of autonomy and support. Also, we have a world-class leadership team who are dedicated to coaching.
