Key Responsibilities

The Growth and Digital Marketer will develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive qualified traffic, generate high-intent leads, and optimize conversion rates. This role requires close collaboration with the growth marketing, marketing communications, and product marketing teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search traffic and generate high-quality leads. Being a vertical SaaS, our SEO potential is somewhat limited, but we want to ensure we're ranking high for highly relevant terms. You'll be focused on winning these terms and ensuring WeTravel ranks higher.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing comms team to develop and optimize content that aligns with SEO best practices and business goals.
  • Link Building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority and improve search rankings.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Develop and implement strategies to improve conversion rates across the website and landing pages.
  • Website Updates: Regularly update and optimize the website to ensure it meets current best practices and business objectives.
  • Landing Page Building: Design and build high-converting landing pages to support marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other analytics tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the growth marketing, marketing comms, and product marketing teams to align digital marketing efforts with broader marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Email Marketing: Identify opportunities in the marketing funnel to improve conversions and enhance touch points to provide ongoing value. Set up and optimize drip campaigns for key conversion points to nurture leads and drive engagement.

  • Experience: Experienced in digital marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment, with a proven track record of working or leading successful marketing initiatives.
  • CRO Skills: Experience with conversion rate optimization strategies and tools.
  • Web Development Skills: Basic knowledge of web development and design principles, with experience in website and landing page creation and optimization.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-Oriented: Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Tech Stack: Proficient in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.

Not mandatory, but definitely a plus

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the travel industry and its unique digital marketing challenges and opportunities.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarized with or have worked with HubSpot.
