About the role:
JOB TITLE: Revenue Manager
LOCATION: Milan (Hybrid)
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent contract, full time
SALARY RANGE: €45,000-€60,000 gross/year + Bonus
REPORTING TO THE COO
What you'll do:
- Design and execute effective pricing strategies that maximize revenue, occupancy, and profitability across all WeRoad markets and product lines (Itineraries, Weekends, Events, and WRX). 
- Lead the analysis of market dynamics — including competitor pricing, customer behavior, demand trends, and elasticity — to inform data-driven decisions and continuously improve price positioning. 
- Innovate and evolve our pricing and forecasting systems, ensuring real-time responsiveness to demand patterns, itinerary performance, seasonality, cost structure, flight prices, and competitive shifts. 
- Own the company’s margin control framework, driving visibility on contribution margin, pricing, and unit economics across markets and products. Present monthly business reviews (MBRs) and margin forecasts, highlighting deviations from budget and recommended actions. 
- Oversee demand forecasting models and ensure accuracy in predicting bookings, fill rates, and margins. Provide actionable insights that guide planning, pricing, and product portfolio decisions. 
- Run performance analyses and reporting to monitor revenue outcomes, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend tactical or structural adjustments to pricing, discounting, or offering. 
- Lead portfolio optimization initiatives, ensuring that supply and commercial teams can easily identify underperforming itineraries, gaps in offering depth, redundant products, and demand variances. Drive timely clean-up and testing of new itineraries. 
- Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies in dynamic pricing, forecasting, and revenue management to refine our methodologies and maintain competitive advantage. 
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply, Business Intelligence, and Tech teams to align pricing strategy with commercial objectives, margin targets, and customer acquisition goals. 
- Work closely with C-Level and Head Ofs to support strategic planning, profitability reviews, and operating model evolution, ensuring consistency between business growth and economic sustainability. 
What we’re looking for:
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field. 
- AI Native knowledge of pricing, revenue, offering, competitor benchmarkings 
- Proven experience as a Revenue Manager or in a similar role within the travel industry. 
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and revenue management software. 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs. 
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing models, and revenue optimization strategies. 
- High standards of work ethic and transparency. Ability to work with sales and cross-functional teams. Strong entrepreneurial approach and a "get things done" attitude. 
- You have good knowledge of SQL (Postgres or MySQL databases) 
- Fluency in English.
