ABOUT THE ROLE

JOB TITLE: HR Business Partner

LOCATION: Hybrid (Milan)

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Full time, Permanent

SALARY RANGE: 40-55K

You sit at the intersection of business strategy and people experience. You operate at two speeds, strategic and operational, and you know when to shift between them. Your impact is measured by the quality of the people who grow, the health of the organisations you support, and our unique culture you help keep alive as the numbers scale.

What you'll do

• Strategic Partnering & Org Health You're the co-pilot of the business units you support: translating their goals into people plans and leading org design, change management, and organisational health reviews (structure, team dynamics, early friction signals).

• Talent Density & Performance Management You raise the bar on every talent decision. You provide guidance on the full performance management cycle (goal-setting, calibration, continuous feedback, PIPs) and run talent reviews, performance calibrations and succession planning.

• Engagement & People Experience You design and measure tailored engagement initiatives on top of the company-wide surveys. You own the moments that matter across the employee lifecycle and turn data (eNPS, exit interviews, pulse surveys) into concrete action plans shared with leaders.

• Manager Coaching You're the thought partner managers didn't know they needed: coaching them on feedback, performance, team development, and navigating change. You don't solve their problems, you help them solve them.

• People Analytics & Employee Relations You build and read HR dashboards, turning trends into actionable insights. You handle employee relations with speed, empathy, and full compliance with labour law.

What we're looking for

• 4–7 years of HRBP experience, ideally in scale-up, tech, or startup

• Proven track of performance management, talent reviews, and org design

• Comfortable with numbers and able to present insights to a leadership team

• Strong coaching and influencing skills: you move people without formal authority

• Change-agent mindset: you embrace ambiguity, iterate fast, and bring others along

• Fluent in English and Italian; Spanish, French, or German is a meaningful plus

• Knowledge of Italian labour law; broader EU exposure is an advantage
