We bring together small groups of like-minded millennials and send them on life-changing experiences to 100+ destinations all over the globe.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Start date: ASAP; February

Contract: Freelance, 3-6-months,

Location: Greater Manchester Area

What you'll do:

  • You will be involved in all marketing activities (e.g. events, sampling, consumer promotions, guerrilla, loyalty programs, finding new partners in Manchester, festivals etc.)

  • Branded events organization, leading and managing the events entirely on your own and coordinating staff supporting you, managing deadlines, logistics and relationships with partners and venues

  • Location check and on-site events support

  • Proactive research of new partnerships and sponsorships

  • Supporting with acquiring new brand influencers

  • Depending on the level of autonomy, you will be also responsible for some specific projects within marketing activities (e.g. events, partnership projects, sponsorship projects, execution of guerilla campaigns, local brand promotions etc.)

What we’re looking for:

  • You already have marketing experience and a high drive to succeed in your projects

  • You live in the Greater Manchester area (crucial for marketing operations)

  • You are flexible with your time - some events and marketing activations will take part in evenings or on weekends (to be redeemed)

  • You will work remotely but are willing to commute to London at times, if necessary (at our costs)

  • You are familiar with; events and venues, festivals, millennial hang-out places, and lifestyle trends of millennials in Manchester

  • You are either self-employed or a freelancer. We’re not looking for agencies or present agency employees due to the high time flexibility required within this role

  • You have a network of contacts in Manchester that you can leverage (potential marketing partners, venues, events etc.)

  • You are able to prioritise WeRoad as a client, and put that extra effort into your work to achieve extraordinarily

  • Ability to perform under stress and be collaborative and supportive in teamwork

  • Ability to plan in detail and solve problems on your own

  • Negotiation skills, applicable to partners, stakeholders, venues managers
