Job Objective


The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving the growth and success of Wakanow. The BDM is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and managing client relationships. The Business Development Manager is a key contributor to the expansion and sustainability of the business.


Job Description


·

Identify new market opportunities and assess market trends and customer needs

· Conduct competitor analysis to stay informed about industry development

· Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline

· Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients

· Create and execute a sales and growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction to meet Wakanow objectives

· Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue goals

· Analyze sales data to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement

· Securing access to inventory in all countries with BSP in the African space and beyond

· Integration with local carriers

· Hotel contracting with all available hotels in the region




Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record in business development or sales
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and planning skills
  • Result driven, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
