As part of our user-centric approach as a company, the Product design team partners with engineers and product managers to champion meaningful traveler experiences that drive business success. To help us achieve this, we’re looking for an Intern with a proactive attitude and structured work approach to support our product teams. In this role, you'll work with Product teams to identify product opportunities, craft problem statements, and build solutions ready to be implemented and will achieve desired outcomes. How you’ll make an impact:

• Demonstrate your ideas in tangible formats such as sketches, prototypes, wireframes, and user interface designs
• Solve basic interaction problems, and under guidance define the user experience of low complexity product changes, from initial ideas to production-ready designs
• Contribute to ideation workshops
• Use methods such as prototyping, to produce and validate well-crafted and qualitative solutions before delivery
• Identify and address when research activities should be conducted to help the team move forward on a specific task
• Work with and maintain our design system
• Perform QA checks before implementation

What you'll need to thrive:

• Be a student currently enrolled at a european university
• A valid EU working visa
• Availability to work for 6 months and commute to our campus in Düsseldorf 3x per week
• Fluency in English (our company language)
• A sociable and proactive personality. You can work both on your own and in a team
• Very good written and oral communication skills
• Good organization and planning skills

Stand out with:

• Interest and education in UX and/or research
• Previous experience in project management, customer service, or comparable positions
