Join our cutting-edge Android engineering team! We work with a Kotlin-based, modularized codebase rooted in MVVM/MVI and Clean Architecture principles. Our culture fosters collaboration, mentorship, and a safe environment. We're midway through migrating to Jetpack Compose and emphasize code quality through extensive testing using CircleCI and SonarCloud. As an Android Engineer on our team, you'll join us to experiment with new ideas and share knowledge through regular pair programming, weekly guild meetings as well as lunch and learn sessions. You'll be supported with dedicated learning days, learning resources, and conference visits to keep you up-to-date with state-of-the-art Android engineering. How you’ll make an impact:

  • Contribute to feature development of our Android App using Kotlin, Compose, and Clean Architecture
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and fellow engineers to develop creative and pragmatic solutions
  • Support the maintenance of our technical roadmap by making architectural decisions, evaluating new technologies in the Android domain and with fellow engineers
  • Mentor other developers, actively share your technical expertise, and participate in pair programming sessions
  • Give and receive constructive feedback through code reviews, fostering a collaborative development environment

What you'll need to thrive:

  • 2-5 years' work experience with a passion for Android development and its surrounding ecosystem
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or a related field
  • A proven track record in shipping high quality code using Kotlin and Android-specific frameworks and best practices
  • Interest in software design and architectural patterns with the ability to use them to write high quality, testable, and maintainable code
  • Knowledge to apply functional programming techniques in practice (e.g. RxJava, Flow)
  • Ability to break down and communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and other team members
  • Be an excellent team player who believes that great teamwork is at the heart of all great products
  • Fluency in English language

  • Proficient shell scripting knowledge to extend our Continuous Integration Pipeline
  • Experience working with GraphQL-based APIs and in a cross-functional team
