In a complex and dynamic business environment like ours, our legal function plays a critical role in safeguarding our interests and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. As a Contract Management Administrator, you’ll get the chance to contribute your own ideas and shape contract-related processes while working in a dynamic work environment. How you’ll make an impact:

  • Maintain our digital contract management database and identify further areas for streamlining and increasing efficiency
  • Implement new processes where needed to ensure an efficient contract management system
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure completeness and company-wide use of our contract database
  • Contribute to projects involving the integration of our contract management database with other trivago tools
  • Review and file day-to-day administrative contracts, including the input of accurate contract metadata
  • Be the point of contact for enquiries related to contracts and data in our database
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for various teams (e.g. tax and financial reporting)
  • Aid the business with contract-related SOX controls and auditor requests
  • Provide administrative assistance to the legal team, including calendar management, document preparation, filling, and data management

What you'll need to thrive:

  • University degree or apprenticeship in law, business administration, or a similar field
  • Relevant work experience in the field of contract management (in a SOX controlled environment would be ideal)
  • Ability to read and understand contracts in English and preferably German
  • Excellent computer skills, especially related to Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word)
  • High level of organization, efficiency, attention to detail, as well as an auditor/proofreader mentality towards data integrity
  • The ability to multitask whilst completing tasks accurately and adhering to deadlines
  • Solid project management and time management skills
  • Experience with Ironclad, Docusign or other contract management tools
  • Excellent English and preferably robust German skills
  • Flexibility to manage peak workloads and critical deadlines before and after each calendar quarter-end
