Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Senior AV Technician to be a key part of our Barcelona TechOps team, working onsite, taking full responsibility for leading and managing a new team of AV and Event Technicians, ensuring that the team provides the highest quality of technical support to all clients.

To facilitate correct preparation, implementation and operation of all aspects of all audio-visual, video conference, audio conference, display and presentation technologies. To support the operation with clear and precise documentation and have the ability to train others in the correct operation of systems.To proactively lead from the front to ensure the service operates within agreed SLAs

The position involves a high degree of exposure, working with senior levels of staff to provide the services listed above.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Senior AV Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Delivery of all VC AV business-as-usual services, including service desk, project management and technical support.

Role Summary

  • Video conference (VC) and Audio conference (AC) support
  • Map out improvements to existing setups and new setups for expanding locations at TK
  • Expert in Zoom meeting technology a must
  • Presentation, meeting and Events support
  • Support of large display solutions and related media
  • AV Engineering support, fault rectification and escalation
  • VC and AV Helpdesk/coordination
  • Supervising colleagues and local operations
  • Manage end user AV training programme
  • Provide remote support to UK, EU and US ‘hub’ offices. With occasional travel as is needed
  • Leading the teams in the day-to-day AV support across the site.
  • Provide AV Support between the hours of 9AM-6PM (Mon-Fri)
  • Liaise with external vendors and the IT Department to ensure first-class AV Meeting delivery.
  • Liaise with internal clients to consolidate their meeting requirements
  • Report all service shortcomings affecting the AV Team to the line manager & or department director
  • Maintain personal awareness of procedures relevant to the AV Team, ensuring that changes are brought to the attention of the stakeholders around the business
  • Deliver a high standard of service in accordance with SLAs for the AV Team
  • Continuously review the AV Team procedures for improvements/modifications.
  • Have an overview of all AV meetings onsite, ensuring a consistent standard is maintained and that all processes are routinely followed.
  • Support AV Event Technicians during key calendar events: EOW, Town Halls, Press Conferences and Quarterly company wide events
  • Support and train others within the company to ensure procedural knowledge is passed to all members of your team via strong process mapping and documentation
