About Us

We are TravelPerk: a scaling unicorn valued at $1.3 billion that has raised over $400m since our creation in 2015.

Backed by world-class investors with portfolios including Airbnb, Stripe, Slack, Trello, Gusto, Twitter, Farfetch and Deliveroo, our team comprises A-players from the travel and technology industries.

TravelPerk is an innovator. We have welcomed and acquired the likes of Click Travel, NexTravel and Albatross to the team. The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced CRO Manager, ideally with a background in the B2B space, who possesses a well-rounded skill set combining analytics, creativity, and technical proficiency. The ability to adapt to evolving user behavior and preferences is a key attribute we value. Expanding beyond English-speaking regions should not be seen as a challenge, but rather as an opportunity for growth and diversification.

As the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager, your primary mission will revolve around enhancing the effectiveness of the Travelperk website. Your goal will be to increase the proportion of visitors who perform specific actions, such as requesting a demo, signing up for the platform, or completing a contact form. The central metric for your role will be the increase in the conversion rate (CR).

What will you be doing?

Data Analysis and Research

  • Regularly perform in-depth analysis of website and user data to pinpoint areas with suboptimal conversion rates.
  • Conduct user research, administer surveys, and execute usability tests to gain insights into visitor behavior and preferences.

Testing and Experimentation

  • Take a full ownership of testing and experimentation efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute A/B tests, split tests, and multivariate tests aimed at optimizing various elements of the website. This includes but is not limited to headlines, calls to action (CTAs), forms, and page layouts.
  • Collaborate with the SEO and Content Marketing teams to ensure alignment of keywords and engaging, relevant, and persuasive content. This involves optimizing copywriting, imagery, and multimedia elements to drive conversions.
  • Collaborate with the Paid Marketing team to ensure alignment of keywords and optimize landing pages to align with specific marketing campaigns and objectives.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, data analysts, and developers to run tests and implement CRO changes effectively.
  • Ensure that all CRO efforts adhere to legal and ethical standards, with a particular focus on data privacy and user consent.

Reporting and Monitoring

  • Regularly provide reports on the progress of CRO initiatives, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI).
  • Continuously monitor website performance and track changes in conversion rates over time.

Education and Best Practices

  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape within the industry.
  • Share industry insights and keep the team informed about best practices in CRO, user experience (UX), and web design.
  • Demonstrate expertise in selecting the most efficient CRO tools and analytics platforms to gather data and insights.

What will you need to succeed

  • Extensive experience in managing CRO functions in the B2B SaaS sector.
  • A background in Marketing Technology (MarTech) to help us stay ahead of the curve.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset that empowers smart decision-making.
  • German and/or Spanish languages is a plus
