TravelPerk, the leading travel management platform revolutionizing business travel, is seeking a Director of Account Management for North America to take the helm of our client relationships. You'll be a seasoned pro with a passion for crafting exceptional customer experiences and a contagious drive to propel growth. What will you be doing?
- Building & Nurturing Relationships: Lead a talented team of Account Managers, empowering them to develop deep relationships with key clients. Foster trust, advocate for TravelPerk's value, and drive adoption to unlock maximum ROI.
- Client Success Champion: Become the trusted advisor for NAM’s book of business, understanding the unique needs of our customers. Proactively identify improvement opportunities, tailor solutions, and ensure ongoing satisfaction through proactive communication and personalized support.
- Growth Architect: Develop and execute strategic account plans to help your team expand client engagement and drive revenue growth. Leverage data insights to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, negotiate strategic opportunities, and secure repeat business.
- Team Leader & Coach: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities, empowering your team to reach their full potential and deliver exceptional client service.
- Thought Leader & Influencer: Stay ahead of the curve in the travel tech landscape. Share best practices, translate industry trends into actionable insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of TravelPerk's offerings.
What will you need to succeed?
- 7+ years of experience in Account Management, ideally within the travel or SaaS industry.
- 4+ years of management experience.
- Proven track record of exceeding client expectations, navigating complex challenges, and securing renewals.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, able to motivate and develop a team to achieve ambitious goals.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable analyzing trends and metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Deep understanding of the business travel landscape and emerging technologies.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), additional languages a plus.
- A travel enthusiast with a passion for building genuine relationships.

How we work
Our Vision is for a world where TravelPerk serves as the platform for human connection in-real-life (IRL). We take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our Boston or Chicago hub. We fundamentally believe in the value of meeting in-real-life to improve connectivity, productivity, creativity and ultimately making us a great place to work.
