We're seeking a Founding Tech Lead to join our founding team and play a pivotal role in shaping our technical vision and execution. You'll be the architect of our technology stack, the mentor to our growing engineering team, and a key contributor to our overall success.

What you'll do: • Define and lead the technical vision: Shape the overall architecture and roadmap for our platform, making key decisions about technologies, tools, and best practices. • Build and own critical components: Be a hands-on engineer, writing clean, maintainable code across the full stack (React for frontend, NodeJS for backend). • Recruit and build a high-performing team: Hire talented engineers who share our values and vision, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. • Mentor and develop your team: Guide and empower engineers to grow their skills and take on ownership. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with product, design, and business teams to ensure technical solutions align with overall goals. • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies: Continuously learn and experiment with new tools and frameworks to keep us ahead of the curve.

We're looking for someone who: • Has experience in building and scaling software products, ideally in a startup environment. • Possesses strong full-stack development skills, with expertise in React for frontend and NodeJS for backend. • Has a passion for WebRTC • Strong understanding of Azure • Is a natural leader with excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills. • Is results-oriented, self-motivated, and has a strong work ethic. • Thrives in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. • Shares our passion for our mission and is excited to build something meaningful. Bonus points if you have: • Worked on a travel booking platform (Expedia, Airbnb, Booking, Viator, SkyScanner) • Experience working on a marketplace product
