We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant & AP to join our Finance team based in Barcelona, reporting directly to our Finance Manager. We’re seeking candidates who share our passion and ambition for continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and record supplier invoices in the accounting system, and execute payments in accordance with agreed terms.
- Regular reconciliation of accounts payable and communication with suppliers to resolve any issues.
- Participation in monthly closings, handling treasury account reconciliations, expense provisions, and supplier invoices.
- Collaborate with the HR team on payroll management, payment, and accounting.
- Work with external tax and labor advisors to prepare and file different tax and social security returns (monthly and quarterly).
- Review and process employee expenses and corporate credit card payments.
Requirements:
- General accounting knowledge is essential to contribute effectively to financial and analytical closings.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting and/or Accounts Payable roles is a must.
- High level of both Spanish and English.
- Experience with NetSuite is a big plus.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
