Job Title: Director of Finance

About the Role

We are seeking a commercially astute and strategically driven Group Finance Director to lead the finance department. Reporting to the CFO, this role will be responsible for group financial oversight, financial strategy, capital management, reporting, governance, and strengthening finance operations.

The successful candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years’ experience in a similar senior finance leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Support

• Partner with the CFO to execute the Group’s financial strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Support strategic planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Provide commercial insights to support pricing strategy, KPI optimisation, and margin enhancement.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee group financial reporting, consolidations, and IFRS compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Prepare board packs and management reports for executive review.
• Manage external audits and regulatory compliance requirements.

Performance & Analytics

• Drive reporting and optimisation of key financial metrics.
• Implement and maintain robust Financial Planning & Analysis processes and dashboards.
• Support data-driven decision-making across the business.

Treasury, Risk & Governance

• Oversee cash flow management and capital allocation processes.
• Maintain strong internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure tax planning and compliance across relevant jurisdictions.

Leadership

• Enhance systems, processes, and automation within the finance function.
• Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and performance excellence.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA) or equivalent international qualification).
• Big 4 articles/training strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a Finance Director leadership role.
• Experience with group consolidations and multi-entity structures.
