As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in equipping our commercial partner teams on the supply side of the business (Air, Hotel, Connectivity, etc.) with the insights and strategies they need to succeed in the marketplace. You will also work closely with our revenue, product, and finance organizations to provide critical support related to pricing & profitability, contract negotiations, forecasting, and other analytical areas.

An ideal candidate will bring strong data skills and business acumen - you’re as comfortable diving into the data as you are talking about what that means to the larger business, and how your insights translate to actions. You’re experienced in navigating through a fast-paced and ambiguous environment while showing a bias for action and eagerness to take ownership.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and data models to support the growth of our different lines of business (Air, Hotel, Car, Rail, etc)
  • Proactively identify key strategic insights and trends from data to then surface opportunities to leadership and the Commercial Partner team
  • Own the creation of critical business cases to drive strategy around our financial impact as well as our initiatives to ensure they continue to align with our company goals + values
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Product, Customer Success, and other functions to represent the supply-side perspective across all of Navan
  • Guide pricing decisions through profitability analysis and track key customer metrics / share insights to align sales strategies with company performance goals
  • Provide other ad hoc analytical support + research and discovery as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Intermediate or expert SQL and Data Visualization skills (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, etc.)
  • Expert storyteller (PowerPoint, Data Storytelling, Verbal Presentations)
  • Experience building complex financial models and impactful business cases (Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior executives as well as cross functional leaders
  • A track record of owning and delivering projects end to end, managing both teams and various stakeholders
  • A passion for all things travel

Additional Awesomeness:

  • Experience working in management consulting or travel industries
  • Experience building / altering data models and deploying changes (we use DBT)
