This role is joining our EMEA people Team, you will play a key role in supporting our people's activities within our UK team. Your role will be to support culture development, people operations and office experience. This role requires someone who is motivated by owning and developing a best in class people agenda and wanting to drive innovative people initiatives. You will have an understanding of HR, compliance and people engagement initiatives.

Culture Development:

  • Lead the innovation and execution of new strategies to enhance our positive company culture.
  • Spearhead projects aimed at streamlining onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Compile key data and insights covering employee joiners, movers and leavers, employee relations and engagement.
  • Develop, oversee, and train the team on employment policies, processes, and procedures to ensure full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Plan, organize, and execute fun internal company events, such as team building activities, company parties, sport events, and lunch & learn sessions.

People experience:

  • Point of contact for all office related queries and employee questions.
  • Office, Facilities and events support as required with partnership with our vendors and service providers.
  • Handle daily office tasks, including planning deliveries, ordering and organizing office supplies, and managing the office budget.
  • Ensure the upkeep, cleanliness, organization, and safety of the workplace environment
  • Act as the safety officer for our headquarters and ensure compliance with corporate office laws and regulations.

People operations:

  • Offer high-level support to the People success partner on various employee life-cycle matters, including but not limited to payroll, visas, employment law, pensions, and mobile work.
  • HR Support on employee performance management, probation management, employee relations cases.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and consistent communication to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the liaison between authorities, insurance companies, and the payroll team to guarantee accurate employee data reporting and processing.
  • Manage comprehensive employee life-cycle processes, including the preparation of employment contracts, extensions, certificates, and attestations.

Requirements:

  • In-office role - minimum 4-5 days per week
  • 1-2 years minimum Human Resources experience or equivalent
  • Understanding of UK employment law, experience with European labor laws, regulations, and trends is advantageous
  • Successful record of improving, and executing people programs at scale
  • Experience working in a scale/start up environment with the ability to navigate the complexities of these organizations.
  • Workday or HRIS system experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent customer orientation with the ability to connect with a diverse and global employee population with varied levels of seniority and experience.
