KAYAK is seeking a highly-motivated Senior Director to help drive its corporate travel online booking tool, KAYAK for Business. This person will report to the SVP of Strategic Partnerships and K4B and work closely to meet Company’s goals and milestones through existing and new partnerships.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of consumer behavior, superior analytical and business development skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with KAYAK’s engineering, design, and commercial teams. Candidates must be self-starters and able to thrive in an agile, fast-paced and data-driven environment. This position will be based in the remote US located on the east coast.

In this role, you will:

  • Be a proven leader that can effectively coach and lead the K4B team to meet and exceed K4B’s objectives and key results.

  • Own the KAYAK for Business P&L. Interpret performance to uncover opportunities and develop strategy forward.

  • Build, manage and maintain a portfolio of Enterprise partners.

  • Leverage data to optimize customer performance, drive revenue and improve the user experience

  • Develop strong relationships and work cross-functionally with the KAYAK commercial, product, marketing and engineering teams

  • Measure product performance using business and user metrics, establish relevant reports

  • Monitor the competitive landscape of online corporate travel tools, identify KAYAK weaknesses, formulate/implement a plan to close the gap

  • Influence internal and external partners from a wide range of audiences, including our third parties partners, senior leadership within KAYAK, and other sister companies

  • Evaluate and negotiate complex, high visibility contracts and help resolve contract disputes

  • 10+ years of business development with partner management or sales experience in the corporate travel industry

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to investigate issues and provide creative solutions

  • Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted relationships

  • Proven track record of exceeding expectations through superior execution and project management

  • Ability to manage projects of varying size and scope simultaneously, while prioritizing appropriately

  • Ability to develop new ideas and work cross-functionally with team members to see projects through to completion

  • Excellent negotiator and target driven

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must with experience presenting to internal and external partners

  • Likes working in an unstructured, fast-paced environment

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint

  • High attention to detail.

  • Experience working with global teams in multiple locations

  • BA/BS degree required

  • Travel requirement – 25%

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this remote United States based role is $200,000-$255,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus, equity grant; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
