The Sr. Manager, Learning & Development is responsible for developing innovative and engaging learning experiences, helping our employees reach their full potential through skills and capabilities development.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of People Experience, this role manages and coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure that a comprehensive set of learning & development programs are created and implemented for the purpose of retaining, growing, and engaging a high performance workforce. The Sr. Manager, Learning & Developement will design, deliver, and continuously improve development initiatives that align with organizational goals. This position will build development experiences while using data and analytics to set priorities for improvements aligned with ongoing strategic goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, build and oversee internal L&D programs including identifying performance, skills, and/or behavior gaps, making recommendations, and providing solutions to improve business performance and develop future leaders by partnering closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders.

  • Partner and collaborate closely with other functions within People and Culture (HR Business Partners, DEI, Talent Acquisition, Talent Programs, and Operations) by supporting and providing learning resources/guides to the entire employee lifecycle - onboarding, career development, team building, manager development, and leadership development programs.

  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and infrastructure for all L&D programs by establishing methods and procedures for delivery, evaluation measurement, and reporting.

  • Manage project execution including coordination of logistics, managing materials, and providing a critical eye to ensure content is ready for distribution.

  • Research, manage, evaluate, and maximize the L&D vendors, including relationship management, usage tracking, budget, employee satisfaction, and impact on the organization’s needs.

  • Continually evaluate and gain feedback on L&D content to ensure focus on improvement, results, and business impact.

What’s required to be successful in the role:

  • Expertise in Learning & Development, Training, Organizational Development or similar field including experience facilitating in-person and remote training programs

  • Experience designing in-house, customized training programs

  • Experience and fluency in instructional design or course design tools and methods

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence, and executive presence

  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Experience in partnering with the business, understanding priorities, and translating them into relevant and impactful learning content

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $140,000 - $182,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
