In this role, you will:

  • Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls to ensure they mitigate identified risks.
  • Execute on assigned Risk and Controls team’s deliverables, and meet established deadlines - i.e. risk assessments, scoping, control testing, SOX certifications, SOC 1 reviews, etc.
  • Develop and maintain internal control documentation including process flow diagrams, narratives, risk matrices, and design and operating effectiveness testing.
  • Identify and investigate process risks, gaps and control design issues within our financial processes and systems, and assist with performing impact assessments, and carrying out remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Control team on projects related to risk assessment, automation, control optimization, and other risk & controls areas.
  • Assist the Risk and Controls team with reporting to senior management including deficiency updates, testing and project status, and the results of analyses performed.
  • Support relationships with control owners and various stakeholders, including internal and external auditors.

Please apply if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA Preferred)
  • 3-4 years of experience (Public Accounting Preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of US GAAP, COSO and SOX
  • Proven self-starter with solid organizational skills, and an ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize.
  • Detail oriented, and consistently strives for quality
  • Displays curiosity, embraces change, and is open to learning and evolving.
  • Enjoys investigating issues, finding simplicity, and identifying innovative solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate ideas and analyses with stakeholders and internal teams effectively.
  • Passionate about collaborating and building solid relationships with global cross-functional teams, as well as internal and external auditors
  • Strong excel and data analysis skills

Ineligible for Equity

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $65,000 - $109,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
