We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager with a strong background in selling embedded finance products, particularly in the FX space, to drive revenue growth and expand our footprint among enterprise clients, software platforms, AP/AR vendors, and other high-value partners.
Your mission at Grain
You will grow Grain’s embedded finance footprint by winning strategic partnerships and platform customers — PSPs, payment platforms, AP/AR vendors, ERPs, marketplaces and high-growth SaaS platforms. You’ll design commercial models and integrations that make Grain the go-to partner for cross-border payments and automated FX inside platform flows.
What you will do
- Target and engage decision-makers at PSPs, payment processors, AP/AR vendors, ERP providers, marketplaces and software platforms.
- Diagnose platform economics and workflows; identify where embedded cross-currency payments, FX automation and reconciliation reduce friction and increase revenue.
- Build and execute go-to-market motions (direct sales, partner GTM, co-selling) tailored to platform and partner models.
- Lead technical-commercial conversations: product architecture, API integration, SLAs, compliance and billing/settlement flows.
- Create compelling financial business cases and commercial proposals (revenue share, per-transaction pricing, flat fees, bundled offers).
- Coordinate implementation with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to accelerate time-to-value and maximise adoption.
- Manage pipeline and forecasts in CRM and consistently reach revenue KPIs.
- Represent Grain at partner events, industry conferences and in RFPs / procurement processes.
Who you are — minimum qualifications
- 5+ years B2B enterprise sales experience in embedded finance, payments, or fintech selling into platforms, PSPs, ERPs, marketplaces or large software vendors.
- Proven track record closing complex commercial and technical deals with platform/partner stakeholders (e.g., Head of Partnerships, CTO, Head of Product, CFO).
- Strong understanding of payments infrastructure, settlement flows, PSP models, and API-based integrations.
- Experience building commercial models (revenue share, interchange, per-transaction pricing) and partner GTM playbooks.
- Excellent consultative selling and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior consulting experience (top-tier management or technology consultancy) working on fintech, payments or platform strategy — valuable for scoping complex platform engagements.
- Experience selling to AP/AR platforms, ERP vendors, accounting teams or marketplaces.
- Technical fluency to run API conversations and coordinate technical pilots.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations for cross-border payments and FX (KYC/AML, licensing implications).
