Role Overview
Own Grain’s field marketing motion end‑to‑end, from portfolio strategy to pipeline impact. You will be a key strategic partner within our revenue organization, accountable for selecting the right stages, orchestrating standout experiences, and demonstrating ROI. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work cross‑functionally with Sales, Bizdev, and Product to turn events and regional plays into measurable pipeline and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute field marketing programs, including industry conferences, events, roadshows, and executive roundtables
- Identify high-value events aligned to target accounts and business objectives
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, from booth design and collateral to pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up
- Create experiences that drive engagement, relationships, and pipeline
Regional Campaigns
- Develop and execute localized marketing campaigns tailored to key geographies (Europe, North America, APAC)
- Partner with revenue team to identify regional priorities and align marketing support to territory goals
- Coordinate regional PR, partnerships, and influencer engagement to amplify brand presence
Sales Enablement & Alignment
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Biz-dev to understand regional challenges, target accounts, and competitive landscape
- Provide the revenue org with tools, content, and air cover to accelerate deals in key regions
- Measure and report on field marketing's impact on pipeline, velocity, and closed-won revenue
Partnership Development
- Identify and activate strategic partnerships with industry associations, ecosystem partners, and co-marketing opportunities
- Build relationships with fintech communities, accelerators, and networks to extend Grain's reach
- Coordinate co-hosted events, webinars, and content partnerships that drive mutual value
Performance Tracking
- Track ROI for field marketing activities, including event pipeline contribution and cost-per-lead
- Analyze data to optimize event selection, messaging, and regional strategies
- Maintain accurate records of all field marketing activities and outcomes
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of field marketing or event marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or fintech
- Proven track record of running successful events that generate pipeline and revenue
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple programs simultaneously
- Proficient with AI and automation to scale work (e.g., prompt-driven research and content, CRM/workflow automation with Zapier/Make, enrichment and dedupe, etc).
- Relationship-builder who thrives on connecting with prospects, customers, and partners
- Comfortable traveling 30-40% of the time for events and regional meetings
- Excellent communication skills and ability to represent Grain professionally at all levels
- Data-oriented with the ability to measure ROI and optimize based on results
- Experience working in global or regional marketing roles is a strong plus
- Background in fintech, payments, or embedded finance is a plus
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
