In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our travel advisors by managing day-to-day flight operations and handling complex air travel requests. You’ll collaborate closely with advisors to ensure travelers receive timely, accurate, and seamless flight support from booking through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored flight options based on advisor and client preferences
  • Manage flight-related inquiries, requests, and issue resolution
  • Book, ticket, refund, and process voluntary/involuntary changes using Sabre (cryptic mode)
  • Issue and redeem MCOs (Miscellaneous Charges Orders)
  • Monitor and action ticketing and schedule change queues
  • Research aircraft types, seating configurations, and routing options
  • Calculate commissions based on contracts and fare basis codes
  • Respond to urgent or emergency support calls from advisors and/or clients
  • Assist with additional ad hoc tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a flight support, air desk, or similar role
  • Strong, hands-on experience using Sabre in cryptic mode, including both manual and automated workflows
  • High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in fast-paced, high-volume work
  • Strong reading comprehension — able to quickly understand fare rules, airline policies, internal SOPs, and advisor emails/requests with minimal guidance
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently, especially in complex booking and ticketing scenarios
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide concise, accurate information via email and phone
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and navigating changing or ambiguous situations
  • Must be available to work U.S. time zones and on weekends and holidays

Strongly Preferred

  • Knowledge of business or private aviation
  • Experience with Phase IV exchanges
  • Familiarity with NDC bookings
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Front or similar customer communication platforms

Additional Details:

  • Independent, full-time remote contractor role
  • Starting hourly rate: $7–8 USD, depending on experience
  • Performance-based increase after 3 months (up to +$2/hour)
  • Contractors must provide their own equipment (laptop, stable internet, and backup connectivity)

Application Process
Shortlisted candidates will complete a live skills assessment focused on Sabre cryptic commands. We’re looking for individuals who are confident in navigating Sabre, including complex workflows.
