About The Role

We are looking for a Flight Desk Associate to join our growing Flight Desk Team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our travel advisors by managing day-to-day flight booking operations and handling complex air travel requests.

You will work closely with advisors to ensure travelers receive timely, accurate, and seamless flight support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide flight options tailored to advisors’ and clients’ needs
  • Handle flight-related inquiries and requests
  • Book, ticket, refund, and manage voluntary/involuntary changes using Sabre cryptic mode
    • Including MCO issuance and redemption
  • Monitor and manage schedule change queues
  • Research aircraft types, seating, and routing options
  • Calculate commissions based on contracts and fare basis codes
  • Respond to emergency calls from advisors and/or their clients
  • Support additional ad hoc tasks as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar flight support or air desk role
  • Strong expertise in Sabre cryptic mode (manual and automated workflows)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to perform under pressure
  • Comfort working in ambiguous situations and managing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business aircraft knowledge
  • Experience with Phase IV exchanges
  • Familiarity with NDC bookings
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office
  • Knowledge of the Front platform is a plus

Work Schedule & Availability

  • Must be able to work during U.S. time zones
  • Availability on holidays and weekends

Additional Job Details

  • Independent full-time remote contractor role
  • Starting hourly rate: $7–8, commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based increase after the 3rd month (up to +$2/hour)
  • Contractors must provide their own equipment (laptop and wifi) and reliable backup

Note: Applicants will be required to complete a live skills assessment focused on Sabre cryptic commands. We’re looking for candidates who feel comfortable and confident using Sabre, including complex workflows.
