About The Role

As Fora expands its international footprint, we’re hiring an International Operations Associate to drive growth and operational excellence across new markets. This bilingual, tech-savvy, and AI-native individual will work at the intersection of strategy, sales, and operations.

Reporting directly to the GM of Fora Mexico, you’ll be a foundational member of the Business & International Operations team, shaping how Fora localizes its offerings and grows internationally—starting with Mexico and extending across Latin America.

In this high-ownership, high-impact role, you’ll have the autonomy to build and scale market-specific initiatives from day one. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who excels at solving complex challenges, and is eager to contribute to a fast-growing startup redefining travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Advisor Growth

    • Lead outbound and inbound sales initiatives to recruit new advisors
    • Facilitate onboarding webinars, strategic follow-up, and sales calls with prospective advisors.
    • Manage the HubSpot queue for LATAM and other regions — qualifying leads and converting them into active advisors.
    • Own the advisor sales funnel: track and optimize conversion, improve retention, and refine sales workflows to scale efficiently.
  • Support Infrastructure & Localization

    • Design and implement operational systems to support a fast-growing advisor base, ensuring localized and scalable solutions.
    • Build and manage localized support tools such as WhatsApp for Business and Intercom.
    • Identify opportunities to automate support needs, reduce ticket volume, and boost self-service adoption.
  • AI & Tech Enablement

    • Lead the exploration and development of AI tools to streamline workflows and improve travel advisor-facing processes.
    • Develop internal resources, tools, or scripts that improve internal team productivity across international operations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with team members across Business Development, Support, Product, and Marketing to align market needs with strategic business goals.
    • Serve as the voice of the international advisor, advocating for their needs across departments.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Spanish and English with strong understanding of Latin American markets.
  • Coursework or certifications in tech, data, or AI (e.g., computer science, data science, product systems).
  • Track record of creative problem solving and execution.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence facilitating webinars and presentations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to improve processes through data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI) and automation platforms.
  • Proven entrepreneurial mindset: Adaptable, collaborative, and eager to learn.
  • Based in NYC or willing to relocate.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Familiarity with CRM and customer support platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Intercom, WhatsApp for Business).
  • Public or portfolio-based examples of AI or automation projects.
  • Prior experience in a startup, student venture, or international business setting.
  • Experience working or studying in Latin American markets.

Compensation

Compensation range for this role is $80k + equity. Other benefits include:

  • Unlimited vacation
  • Health Insurance (including an option completely covered by Fora HQ)
  • Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Wellhub Memberships
  • 401k plan with company match
  • Commuter Benefits
  • Supplemental Life Insurance
  • Stock Options

This role is based in our beautiful New York City office (Tribeca/Fidi) with lots of natural light and great views.
