ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join FCM as a VIP Travel Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional business travel experiences for high-value corporate clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned travel professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing complex domestic, regional, and international travel arrangements. You'll partner closely with travellers, travel bookers, procurement stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure seamless travel, outstanding service delivery, and long-term client retention. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and coordinate domestic, regional, and international travel arrangements
- Manage complex itineraries including multiple destinations, visa requirements, and special travel accommodations
- Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with client travel policies and budgets
- Support and promote customer online adoption initiatives
- Service, retain, and grow assigned client portfolios
- Manage travel quotations, bookings, finance-related queries, complaints, and customer escalations
- Ensure all enquiries are actioned within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
- Provide clients with travel quotes, confirmations, and documentation within required timeframes
- Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally
- Adhere to One Best Way processes and procedures
- Balance speed, accuracy, and service excellence in a high-volume environment
- Drive customer engagement and retention initiatives
- Ensure business travel arrangements are cost-effective, well-organized, and policy compliant
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with procurement stakeholders, travel bookers, travellers, and preferred suppliers
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric
- South African Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in Corporate Travel
- Senior Travel Consultant experience
- Minimum 5+ years' Amadeus experience
- Domestic, Regional, International land and air booking experience
- Expert understanding of fares, ticketing, and air travel complexity
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within SLA requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Travel (advantageous)
