Day in the life:

We are looking for an experienced UiPath Solution Architect to join our Digital Center of Excellence (COE). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing scalable automation solutions, defining architecture standards, and guiding delivery teams to implement enterprise-grade RPA and intelligent automation solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in UiPath, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to align automation initiatives with business and technology strategies.

You'll be perfect for the role if you have:

Solution Architecture and Technical Leadership:

• Designing end-to-end automation solutions leveraging UiPath platform capabilities, including Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, Document Understanding, and Integration Services.
• Defining scalable, secure, and reusable automation frameworks and architecture standards.
• Collaborating with business analysts, developers, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure solution alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Conducting technical feasibility assessments and recommending the best automation approach for complex business processes.

Automation Strategy and Solution Design:

• Translating business requirements into high-level and detailed solution designs.
• Reviewing process assessments and identifying opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and intelligent automation.
• Providing architecture guidance for attended, unattended, API-based, and AI-powered automation solutions.
• Ensuring automation solutions are designed for scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and performance.

Delivery Oversight and Governance:

• Providing technical oversight throughout the automation project lifecycle, from discovery to deployment and hypercare.
• Conducting solution and code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Supporting deployment planning, production releases, and issue resolution for critical automations.
• Collaborating with COE leadership to define and maintain governance frameworks, reusable assets, and delivery standards.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:

• Acting as a trusted advisor for business and technology stakeholders on automation strategy and solution architecture.
• Facilitating architecture discussions, technical workshops, and design sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Supporting pre-sales discussions, effort estimation, and roadmap planning for automation initiatives.
• Mentoring developers and technical team members to build overall RPA capability within the organization.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Evaluating new UiPath products, AI capabilities, and emerging technologies to enhance automation solutions.
• Driving adoption of best practices, reusable components, and automation accelerators.
• Identifying opportunities to improve platform performance, operational support, and delivery efficiency.
• Contributing to the COE knowledge base through architecture documentation, standards, and technical guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in software development, automation, or solution architecture.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in UiPath and enterprise RPA implementations.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise-scale automation solutions.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications:

• UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer or Solution Architect certification preferred.
• Additional cloud or enterprise architecture certifications are advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of UiPath platform components including Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, Apps, Action Center, and Document Understanding.
• Expertise in automation architecture patterns, framework design, and enterprise integration approaches.
• Experience with API integrations, databases, queues, and enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, security, credential management, and deployment best practices.
• Proficiency in preparing Solution Design Documents (SDD), architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in effort estimation, technical assessment, and automation roadmap planning.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with intelligent automation capabilities including AI/ML integrations and process mining.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools for RPA delivery.
• Experience working within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or enterprise COE model.
• Understanding of operational support models, monitoring, and automation analytics.
• Familiarity with change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
