JD - Senior Cloud Operations Engineer

Location – Noida Summary We are looking for a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to support and maintain the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our Azure-based systems. This hands-on role involves monitoring critical systems, resolving incidents, automating repetitive tasks, and supporting infrastructure improvement initiatives across cloud-hosted applications and services.

Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure (VMs, storage, networking, etc.) • Perform incident detection, triage, resolution, and root cause analysis (RCA) • Troubleshoot system-level issues across OS, cloud resources, network flows, and application dependencies • Support deployment of infrastructure using tools like ARM, Terraform, or Azure CLI • Collaborate with development and cloud teams on performance tuning and patching • Write or modify scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation • Maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and standard operating procedures • Configure monitoring dashboards using Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights • Contribute to DR testing, backup validation, and security reviews Requirement • 4+ years of experience in Azure cloud operations • Good understanding of Azure services: VMs, NSGs, Load Balancers, App Gateway, VNets • Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, App Insights, Grafana • Hands-on with scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform) • Basic exposure to DevOps and CI/CD concepts • Strong troubleshooting and incident handling experience • Comfortable working with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)

Nice to Have: Experience with Azure Arc, Site Recovery, Virtual WAN Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes Understanding of Azure role-based access control (RBAC) Exposure to containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
