Expedia Group B2B is looking for an experienced and technically minded Technical Integration Consultant to help partners successfully integrate with our travel technology products. In this role, you will lead technical integration discussions, guide partners through implementation, and translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions.
You will work closely with Business Development, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to help partners adopt and get the most value from the Expedia Rapid API. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical knowledge with strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for travel and technology.
What you'll do
Lead technical workshops, presentations, and discovery sessions for affiliate and partner engineering teams.
Advise partners on the design, implementation, testing, and operation of integrations with the Expedia Rapid API.
Explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Identify, document, and proactively share integration best practices with partners and internal teams.
Analyse and troubleshoot complex integration issues, identifying root causes and recommending effective, scalable solutions.
Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 2 Support on complex escalations, including direct engagement with strategic partners.
Support partners across the European region, working across multiple integrations and time zones as required.
Participate in pre-sales activities with Sales and Business Development, helping shape technical solutions that meet partner needs.
Partner with Business Development and Account Management to identify opportunities for new products, capabilities, and partner growth.
Perform quality assurance and validation testing on partner API implementations before launch.
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, maintaining clear communication, momentum, and high-quality outcomes.
Capture partner feedback and recurring integration challenges to help improve documentation, tooling, and partner experience.
What you'll bring
At least two years of experience in Technical Consultancy or Technical Account Management equivalent.
Hands-on experience with multiple programming or scripting languages, including SQL.
Practical experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, web services, and database schemas.
An understanding of common web, mobile, and high-volume e-commerce architectures.
Experience diagnosing technical issues using logs, API responses, monitoring tools, and other troubleshooting techniques.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical specifications and recommendations confidently.
The ability to deliver practical, high-quality solutions with limited supervision.
Strong business acumen and the ability to connect technical decisions to partner and business outcomes.
A creative, structured approach to solving challenging business and technology problems.
The ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a dynamic, complex environment.
A bias toward action and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
Fluency in English.
Willingness to travel up to 10% per year.
Nice to have
Experience in the travel, e-commerce, payments, or online marketplace industries.
Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud platforms.
Experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, or working directly with sales and business partners.
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, or support tools.
Experience supporting partner-facing products or integrations in a high-volume environment.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
