About the Role
As a Global Process Owner, you will lead the book to cash work stream Oracle Cloud ERP implementations across Accounting, Finance and Intercompany processes, driving multi-phase rollouts and ensuring operational excellence. This role combines technical, accounting and data expertise, leadership, and global coordination to deliver scalable solutions, optimize processes, and support ongoing releases. You will manage consulting teams across multiple time zones to maintain 24-hour continuity of delivery, ensuring seamless execution and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
BTC Process Ownership & Strategy
- Own the end-to-end Oracle Cloud BTC implementation activities, roadmap, including staged rollout delivery, planning, and risk mitigation.
- Manage global consulting teams across time zones to ensure continuous progress and timely delivery.
- Establish governance frameworks and lead cross-functional teams to align with business objectives.
- Own RAID governance (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and defect lifecycle management, ensuring timely triage, resolution, and visibility across stakeholders.
- Leverage tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage backlogs, track defects, and provide executive-level reporting on program status, risks, and milestones.
Global Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate working sessions, drive decision making and agile sprints to capture requirements and drive iterative development.
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver structured change management, training programs, and communications to ensure successful adoption of BTC processes.
- Communicate effectively across regions and time zones to maintain 24-hour delivery continuity.
Process Development & Continuous Improvement
- Design and refine book to cash processes, including accounting, transaction workflows, and intercompany transactions.
- Drive process, reporting and automation initiatives optimizing the technology to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and enhance compliance.
Data Transformation & Migration
- Drive data readiness validation and lead cutover planning, including mock runs, go/no-go decision frameworks, and go-live execution.
- Oversee extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from boundary systems into Oracle Cloud using FBDI templates and UCM.
- Implement robust reconciliation strategies to ensure data integrity across ledgers, subledgers, boundary systems.
Testing, Release Management & Support
- Lead end-to-end testing strategy across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles, including defining test plans, entry/exit criteria, and ensuring high-quality release readiness.
- Lead post-go-live support for Oracle Cloud releases, including patch testing, regression analysis, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and automated workflows for reconciliation and reporting.
SOX Controls & Risk Management
- Embed SOX-compliant controls into financial processes and system configurations to ensure audit readiness.
- Identify and mitigate evolving risks introduced by new architecture and integrations.
- Partner with internal audit and compliance teams to validate control effectiveness and maintain documentation.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Implement controls for financial data accuracy and compliance with global accounting standards.
- Monitor and report out KPIs and success metrics to measure process efficiency and system performance.
Qualifications
Education: Accounting or Computer Science
Experience: 10+ years in ERP implementations, with at least 5 years in Oracle Cloud ERP leadership roles.
Technical Skills:
- Oracle Cloud ERP GL, AP, AR, EPCM, FCCS, OIC, FBDI, UCM
- BI Tools: Tableau, R, Python, SQL
- Big Data Technologies: AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift), Apache Spark, ETL
Certifications: Oracle GL Implementer, Big Data AWS preferred.
Leadership Attributes
- Proven ability to manage large-scale ERP programs with phased rollouts.
- Strong track record in global team management, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
