Introduction to the team
Travel Partnerships and Advertising helps partners, including hotels, vacation rentals, airlines, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and more, deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences. We drive growth for our partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply and our leading advertising and travel media network.
The Hotel Enterprise Partnerships team sits within this division and partners with leading hotel groups across APAC to unlock sustainable, profitable growth. We combine Expedia Group’s marketplace, data, and technology with deep industry expertise to help our hotel partners reach more travelers, optimize their performance across our brands, and elevate their commercial strategy.
As an Account Manager on the Hotel Enterprise Partnerships team, you will be a strategic advisor to a portfolio of enterprise hotel partners, building long-term relationships and driving outcomes that benefit both our partners and Expedia Group.
In this role, you will:
- Support and grow a portfolio of enterprise hotel accounts across APAC, deepening relationships with key decision makers and influencers to drive mutual business growth.
- Develop and manage dynamic account plans (local, regional, and chain-level), prioritizing opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, and Expedia Group’s strategic objectives.
- Use data insights to identify performance opportunities and risks, translating them into clear, actionable recommendations for partners and internal stakeholders.
- Support commercial discussions and contract negotiations for a subset of accounts, partnering closely with Legal and senior stakeholders to structure sustainable, mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, connectivity, marketing, operations) to resolve complex issues, improve processes, and share best practices across regions and partners.
- Represent Expedia Group at partner meetings and industry events, building our profile in market and championing the needs and perspectives of our hotel partners.
Experience and qualifications:
- You have 5+ years of experience in negotiation and/or account management, working autonomously with a portfolio of strategic or enterprise accounts, ideally within travel, hospitality, or a related industry.
- You have a track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (including Director and C-suite), influencing decisions, and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- You have proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language of the market, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and tailor your message to different audiences.
- You bring strong analytical and critical thinking skills, using data to identify trends, diagnose performance, build business cases, and propose practical, insight-led recommendations.
- You are dedicated to excellent customer service and relationship building, with high social intelligence and the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously to resolve issues and unlock opportunities.
- You have experience with portfolio management, cross-selling, and managing operational complexity across multiple products, markets, or stakeholders.
- You have a university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Hospitality, Economics, or related technical field); or equivalent related professional experience.
