Role summary
Based in Dubai, this Market Manager role owns and grows a portfolio of high‑value, predominantly luxury and premium hotels across major Middle Eastern markets, acting as a trusted commercial advisor to senior stakeholders and key local influencers. The role designs and executes market and account strategies to drive revenue, room nights, and margin; leads complex commercial negotiations and luxury‑focused initiatives; and represents Expedia Group with partners, tourism boards, and industry influencers. It requires a data‑driven, senior commercial profile with deep luxury hospitality expertise, proven experience in large/complex markets (gaming/integrated resorts a plus), and strong cross‑functional leadership to deliver scalable solutions and raise the bar on commercial excellence.
What you’ll do
As a Market Manager, you will:
Own and grow a portfolio of high-value lodging partners in major markets in the Middle East(mostly Dubai based partners), with a particular focus on luxury and premium properties.
Develop relationships with C-suite and GMs to influence at strategic level.
Secure seasonal deals and promotions to support the brands merchandising and marketing efforts.
Represent Expedia Group in assigned markets and establish relationships with local tourism boards and industry key local influencers.
Develop and execute market-level and account-level strategies to drive revenue, room nights, and margin, using data and insights to prioritize opportunities and actions.
Act as a trusted commercial advisor to hotel partners, providing consultative recommendations on pricing, availability, content, and merchandising to optimize performance on the Expedia Group platform.
Lead complex commercial conversations and negotiations, including incentive deals, margin discussions, products retention, ensuring outcomes that are sustainable and aligned with Expedia Group strategy.
Identify and unlock new business opportunities within the portfolio (e.g., incremental inventory, new products, cross-sell/upsell, test-and-learn pilots), with a particular emphasis on positioning luxury inventory to premium demand.
Lead initiatives to help us win in the region: ie support domestic brand investment with consistent domestic deals sourcing, driving luxury segment through global cross collaboration.
Monitor market trends, competitor behavior, and demand patterns in key source and destination markets, and translate these into clear actions for your portfolio and for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve complex issues and deliver scalable solutions for partners.
Represent the “voice of the customer/partner” internally and helping shape improvements that support big markets and luxury partners.
Champion operational excellence, ensuring data quality (rates, availability, content), accurate mapping, and issue resolution, while continually driving process improvements.
Role‑model Expedia Group’s values and inclusive culture, contributing to best-practice sharing, and helping to raise the bar on commercial excellence.
Direct internal and/or regional projects as/when required
Perform in-market commercial initiatives such as Seminars, Webinars and Partner round tables.
Min 40% of partners F2F interactions will be required for this role.
Who you are
Experienced commercial individual in lodging / travel / e‑commerce with significant experience (typically 5+ years) in account management, market management, or B2B sales, including direct ownership of a revenue or margin target.
Proven success managing large / complex markets (e.g., major city or multi‑country portfolios) with diverse partner segments and a strong mix of enterprise or key accounts.
Deep familiarity with the luxury hospitality and understands luxury guest expectations, channel strategy, and revenue management levers.
Proven experience managing casino / gaming markets or integrated resorts, ideally in a major gaming destinations is a plus.

Experience working with product, marketing, revenue management, and operations teams.
Proactively shares best practices and supports peers across markets.
Highly organized and self‑directed, able to prioritize across multiple markets and projects in a fast‑moving environment.

Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Hospitality, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus, or equivalent relevant experience.
