Role Summary
A passionate designer who elevates the craft and impact of experience design within the Insurtech domain. This person drives end-to-end UX for a product area, builds strong cross-functional relationships, and integrates emerging technologies—including AI—into scalable, customer-centric solutions. They are a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Insurance stakeholders, navigating complex ecosystems with clarity and influence.
Experience :
Bachelor's degree or higher in Design, HCI, UX; or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional experience in UX, Product Design, or Service Design.
Strong proficiency in core UX skills (interaction design, visual design, content design, UX research).
A track record of delivering measurable impact through design solutions
Experience working in high-ambiguity, regulated, or fintech/insurtech environments.
Demonstrated cross-functional versatility.
Additional academic or professional credentials that deepen team expertise.
Role Expectations
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated mastery of interaction and visual design principles, with experience producing high-quality wireframes, flows, prototypes, and service blueprints with minimal guidance.
Experience shaping product strategy by articulating a clear, actionable UX vision anchored in customer, business, and compliance needs, particularly within insurance workflows.
Proven ability to bring together diverse stakeholders—such as Product, Engineering, Insurance Ops, Legal, and Data Science—to create alignment and uncover opportunities.
Experience developing deep empathy and customer insights using data, experiments, research, and real customer signals.
Preferred Qualifications:
An AI-forward mindset with experience identifying opportunities where AI can meaningfully enhance customer and agent experiences while ensuring ethical and human-centered outcomes.
Experience actively contributing to and scaling a design system with patterns that support flexibility and future expansion.
Experience defining customer experience success metrics and ensuring they align with product, business, and operational KPIs.
Ability to create compelling materials and narratives that explain design rationale using customer, business, and competitive insights.
Confidence in facilitating workshops, idea generation, and prioritization with cross-functional partners in high-ambiguity spaces.
