Global Market Manager, Hotels.com Korea
The Global Market Manager for Hotels.com Korea is a key driver of B2C growth, responsible for shaping the market strategy through data-driven insights and business activation. This role combines strong analytical expertise with the ability to influence and execute cross-functional initiatives. Partnering with teams across Finance, Supply, Pricing, Marketing, Product, Legal, and more, the Global Market Manager identifies growth opportunities, optimizes performance, and ensures Korea’s B2C trajectory aligns with global objectives.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, commercially savvy, and skilled at turning complex data into actionable strategies and compelling narratives. This role demands collaboration, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering measurable impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will:
Strategic & Analytical Thinking
• Systematically investigates business questions to establish facts and generate insights
• Identifies methods for collecting and analyzing data; articulate finding clearly
• Measures and assesses business performance, customer satisfaction, and program effectiveness
Market & Competitive Intelligence
• Develops deep understanding of industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics
• Gathers and shares competitive intelligence to inform strategy and marketing approach
Communication & Influence (internal/external stakeholders
• Creates clear and concise communication skills
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
• Collaborates effectively across teams (across regions) and builds trust with stakeholders
Resource & Project Management
• Evaluate team/market needs and secure resources effectively
• Lead cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and impact
Customer Centric Approach
• Always brainstorm approaches/messages that enable customers, bringing them along the journey at every stage of the lifecycle
• Understand the importance of local relevancy and messaging. Ensure consistency in voice and tone across touchpoints
Functional/ Technical Skills
• Build and drive improvements in alignment between data science, product, analytics, and marketing teams on program plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a test-and-learn mindset
• Ability to influence peers and stakeholders
• Curious, growth mindset
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong hands-on execution skills to activate growth strategies and lead projects from insights to implementation
• Ability to identify growth levers and translate them into actionable plans with measurable outcomes
Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's or equivalent experience
• 5+ years for Bachelor's
• Experience in a cross-functional, data-driven environment preferred
• Develops and drives significant and sustained change and performance improvement from data-driven insights in a number of different areas or contexts.
