You will help design, build, and operate batch and real-time ETL pipelines that generate domain datasets, providing insights to partners and decision-makers. You will also contribute to frontend and backend development to enhance user interfaces and deliver actionable insights. Working with teams across the organization, you will learn requirements, help design solutions, and add value through an agile development approach.

The ideal candidate has strong fundamentals, is eager to learn, and collaborates well within cross-functional teams. You bring energy, problem-solving curiosity, a passion for technology and data, clear communication, and adaptability.
In this role, you will:
  • Join the development team and participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Contribute to solving business challenges using disciplined development practices and appropriate technologies to build scalable, flexible, and efficient solutions.
  • Propose and implement straightforward solutions to problems, prioritize execution, and embrace experimentation and learning.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code with unit/integration tests.
  • Help improve development and delivery processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and knowledge sharing to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Seek guidance from senior engineers while steadily increasing ownership of components and features.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and business needs; learn new technologies and methodologies as required.
  • Communicate effectively with teammates and stakeholders and maintain clear documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively across peers, leaders, and business partners.
  • Take pride in and celebrate team outcomes.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience in data engineering and/or software development (internships, projects, or prior roles).
  • Experience working in Agile teams; ability to deliver quality work under deadlines.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and NoSQL distributed databases (e.g., ScyllaDB, MongoDB).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, Kotlin, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of stateful stream processing concepts (e.g., Faust, KafkaConsumer/KafkaProducer/KafkaStreams).
  • Familiarity with frontend and backend frameworks/libraries such as React.js and Node.js.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply critical thinking.
  • Preferred: Solid understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Preferred: Exposure to distributed systems, fault tolerance, and AWS Cloud services, with familiarity in modern data and application frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Spring, Confluent Kafka) and CI/CD pipelines for scalable, reliable solutions.
