Benefits Specialist
Corporate Functions
Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Traveler and Partner Service Platform, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability.
As a Benefits Specialist at Expedia Group, you’ll be an emerging subject matter pro in the evolving world of benefits administration. You’ll consistently apply standard processes and best practices to support benefits operations, resolve employee questions, and contribute to ongoing projects. In this role, you will:
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Employee Benefits team
- Work closely with the HR Operations and Payroll teams. Other stakeholders will include accounting team, Geo, People Tech Team (PTT).
- Work closely external stakeholders including benefit providers, benefits brokers and external consultants.
- Act as a first point of contact for internal stakeholder, handling complex benefits queries and delivering a high level of service.
- Maintain HR and supplier database systems to ensure they are kept up to date, along with routine reporting as required.
- Contribute to and take an active part in project work within the team and provide input as and when required to help to constantly improve processes and the service provided.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in administration within Employee Benefits, ideally in a Shared Services environment.
- Previous experience of using a Benefit Platform administered by a third party is desirable
- Previous experience of Workday or similar HRIS system is desirable
- Strong organisational skills and communication skills, ability to deal with people at all levels
- Strong attention to detail in order to accurately maintain records and produce clear and detailed research
- Team player, works well under pressure, proactive, quick learner
- Process driven
- Experience of producing PowerPoint presentations and a good knowledge of Excel
