Manager, Regional Partnerships, Car

Introduction to the Team:

This role is part of Travel Partnerships and Advertising which helps partners, including hotels, airlines, car rental, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and more, deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences. We drive growth for our partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply, our leading advertising and travel media network and affiliate solutions.

Expedia Group is looking for a Manager, Regional Partnerships, Car, who is passionate about establishing relationships, crafting successful internal and external partnerships, and using data to drive decisions! Are you looking for the opportunity to have impact on the core business of a rapidly growing car rental line of business?

The Manager of Regional Partnerships, Car, part of the Car and New Business commercial team, will manage and grow a defined portfolio of customer accounts essentially based in the Americas region by building trusted relationships, identifying business opportunities, and delivering solutions. You will act as a strategic advisor to your clients, navigating complex operational environments and driving impactful outcomes through negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and deep market insight.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop strategic accounts

    • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and unlock growth opportunities.

  • Acquire new partners and expand into new markets

    • Identify and engage high-potential partners to support strategic growth. Lead acquisition efforts and ensure smooth onboarding and long-term collaboration

  • Manage contracts and lead negotiations

    • Oversee contract discussions for regional accounts, ensuring alignment with company standards. Collaborate with legal teams to secure sustainable, strategic agreements

  • Demonstrate sales and communication excellence

    • Use persuasive sales techniques to communicate value and influence outcomes. Navigate complex conversations with clarity and confidence across diverse audiences

  • Build and nurture relationships

    • Foster strong connections across internal teams, partner organizations, and industry networks. Act as a trusted advisor, sharing insights and best practices to drive mutual success

Experience and qualifications:

  • Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse markets and cultures. Fluency in Portuguese a plus but not required

  • Proven experience in portfolio management and strategic account development, with a strong focus on sales growth and partner’s relationship expansion

  • Strong sales acumen, with the ability to identify partner’s needs, craft compelling value propositions, and influence high-level decision-making

  • Skilled in account planning and territory management, with a focus on prioritizing high-value opportunities

  • Ability to manage operational complexity and deliver results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a consultative and customer-centric approach

  • Strong business insight, including understanding of financial impact, market dynamics, and competitive positioning

  • Knowledge of the car rental market is a plus

The total cash range for this position in Miami is $127,500.00 to $178,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $204,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
