Vice President, Corporate Strategy
About the role:
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Vice President - Strategy to lead our corporate strategy function and build a high-impact Center of Excellence (CoE). This role will drive strategic planning, executive alignment, and cross-functional coordination across a network of embedded strategists within business units and functions.
You will be a key advisor to senior leadership, responsible for shaping the company’s long-term direction, enabling strategic decision-making, and ensuring consistency and rigor in how strategy is developed and executed across the organization.
What you'll do:
Corporate Strategy & Planning
- Lead the annual and long-range strategic planning processes in partnership with Finance and business leaders.
- Develop and maintain strategic frameworks, tools, and methodologies to guide decision-making.
- Prepare executive-level and board-facing materials that communicate strategic priorities and progress. Strategic Planning: Oversee the annual strategic planning process, setting multi-year strategic goals and priorities.
Strategy Center of Excellence
- Build and lead a lean, high-performing central strategy team.
- Establish and maintain a network of embedded strategists across BUs and functions.
- Define and implement the operating rhythm for strategic alignment
Strategic Alignment & Execution
- Facilitate cross-functional strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Monitor external trends and internal performance to inform strategic pivots.
- Act as a thought partner to BU leaders and the executive team on key strategic questions.
- Drive execution of enterprise-level strategic initiatives, ensuring programmatic ownership, cross-functional coordination, and delivery of measurable outcomes
Who you are:
- 15+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or strategic planning roles.
- Proven success in leading strategic planning processes and cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience operating in a matrixed or hybrid organizational model.
- Strong executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical rigor with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Marketplace or travel industry experience strongly preferred.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $296,000 to $415,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $474,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
