Introduction to the Team

The PLS Financial Operations Team plays a critical role by partnering with the business to ensure the operations and execution of transactional payment to and from Expedia Group and on its financial platforms, including but not limited to roles within Corporate Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement Ops, and Partner Payment Operations & Services.

The Finance Operations Lead role sits withing the Finance organization, working across organizations and Lines of Business to resolve financial transactions or system issues, and communicating internally and externally at various levels.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop a broad knowledge base of systems and databases through experience, completing routine to complex responsibilities, and performing analyses.

  • Completes routine activities by using financial systems and technologies.

  • Completes basic quality review checks on data using assigned systems.

  • Receive multiple information requests and anticipate information monitoring needs, disseminating appropriately to multiple recipients or a broader audience.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Not required but as a guide when coupled with education 3+ years with Associate's Degree Education

  • 2-4 years applicable experience = Associate's Degree Associate's / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Initiative (e.g. proactiveness, problem solving, "go get what's next")

  • Communication Skills (e.g. verbal, non-verbal, written, listening)

  • Customer Service Skills (e.g. stakeholder management, conflict resolution)

Please note that this role is only available in the following location: Springfield, MS in alignment with our flexible work model which requires employees to be in-office at least three days a week. We are unable to offer relocation assistance for this role.

The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $44,500.00 to $62,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $71,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
