Senior Consumer Insights Manager
We create and deliver an aligned, dedicated marketing strategy to fuel each Expedia Group brand's success. Since our travelers interact with us through our brands, we have a brand focus in our marketing, while leveraging the scale and efficiency we’ve built in functional expertise.
The Traveler Research and Insights Team is seeking a Consumer Insights Manager to contribute to building traveler-centric brands.
As a Senior Consumer Insights Manager, you will be the strategic insights lead for one of our flagship brands within a house of brands. You’ll partner closely with marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams to ensure our brand strategies, communications, and experiences are rooted in traveler truths.
You’ll lead end-to-end research programs, own key measurement workstreams, and advocate for best-in-class insight practices across the organization. This role is pivotal in shaping how our brands connect with travelers and drive business impact.
In this role, you will:
Be the Voice of the Traveler: Represent traveler needs and perspectives across brand forums and strategic initiatives
Lead Research Strategy: Develop and execute a rigorous research roadmap aligned to brand and business priorities
Own Brand Measurement: Manage brand health tracking, creative testing, and campaign effectiveness across multiple brands
Deliver Actionable Insights: Translate complex data into compelling narratives that influence marketing, creative, and business decisions
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across marketing, UX, loyalty, analytics, and product to build holistic traveler insights
Influence Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with senior leaders and advocate for insight-driven decision-making
Manage External Partners: Oversee research vendors and ensure methodologies align with industry standards and evolving marketing trends
Champion Innovation: Stay ahead of research trends and bring fresh thinking to how we understand and engage travelers
Mentor & Lead: Coach junior researchers and contribute to a culture of excellence and curiosity within the insights team
Experience and qualifications:
8+ years of experience in consumer research and insights, ideally across both agency and client-side roles
Proven expertise in brand and campaign measurement, creative testing, and strategic research
Skilled in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including social listening and sentiment analysis
Strong communicator with the ability to craft clear, engaging stories from complex data.
Experienced in influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, global organization with evolving priorities
Excellent project manager with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and maintain attention to detail
Passionate about travelers and committed to building brands that resonate deeply with their needs

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
