Travel Partnerships and Media (TPM) helps partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, a valued advertising and travel media network, and affiliate solutions.

We are seeking a commercially minded Director, Travel Partner & Advertising (TPA) Solutions responsible for the strategic design and delivery of a modern, high-impact technology ecosystem that directly supports commercial operations in the travel industry. This role sits on the bridge of architecture, product, and business enablement - focused on increasing win rates, improving sales productivity, and accelerating go-to-market capabilities through seamless systems and smart tooling.
You will guide integration solutions across internal and third-party platforms, oversee the delivery of foundational infrastructure, and lead the launch of an TPA initiative that improves operational productivity and reinvests focus on meaningful commercial activities.
You’ll own solution design, ecosystem strategy, and the overall integrity of our TPA ecosystem that powers sales, marketing, partner enablement, and strategic growth.
In This Role You Will:
Solutions for Commercial Outcomes
- Define and lead the technical solution design of systems and tools that directly support commercial operations, sales enablement, and account growth.
- Ensure the infrastructure and design of solutions are tightly aligned with goals like increasing deal velocity, win rates, and sales team effectiveness.
- Provide guidance on structuring CRM, Omni-channel, data, and internal-facing platforms for long-term scalability and interoperability.
Unify the Commercial Tech Ecosystem
- Connect enterprise architecture, domain engineering teams, and commercial stakeholders to create an integrated, intelligent, and less fragmented tooling ecosystem.
- Drive alignment across CRM, marketing tech, sales tools, and partner systems to enable a seamless commercial experience.
Vendor Solutions Strategy & Integration Oversight
- Owns technical strategy and architectural input into vendor/tool selection for commercial systems.
- Ensure that tools are chosen for openness, portability and value. Not vendor lock-in and that they support a connected and flexible ecosystem.
- Oversee delivery execution by engineering teams, ensuring alignment with TPA ecosystem vision and business value.
Bridge Technology Solutions with Business
- Translate commercial strategy and performance metrics into systems requirements architectural direction.
- Champion data-driven decision making, ensuring tools provide the insights necessary for better targeting, personalization and sales execution.
Build & Lead Strategic Productivity Team (Commercial Focus)
Stand up and lead a focused team dedicated to driving internal productivity and enabling commercial teams to spend more time on high-value work, such as partner engagement and strategic initiatives. This team will:
- Identify and execute opportunities to reduce repetitive workflows through automation and smarter systems.
- Accelerate foundational improvements that remove operational friction and unlock team capacity.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering to test and scale high-impact solutions.
- Deliver rapid, iterative improvements with a small, technically capable team focused on quick wins and measurable outcomes.
Experience and Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years in technical architecture, solution design, or technology strategy roles, ideally within high-scale, customer-focused organizations.
- Deep understanding of commercial operations (e.g., sales, marketing, partner enablement) and how tech ecosystems support them.
- Demonstrated experience improving sales productivity, customer engagement, or win rates through system design and tooling optimization.
- Experience leading integration architecture across CRMs, AI solutions, sales enablement platforms, and data systems.
- Proven ability to oversee delivery through influence, ensuring implementation aligns with architectural goals.
- Set the strategic direction for the team’s roadmap and execution, ensuring efforts are tightly aligned with business priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the travel industry with a strong understanding of B2B2C or B2B sales motions.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts as applied to productivity, personalization, or commercial tooling.
- Experience working with sales and marketing leadership to define technical solutions that directly impact growth targets.
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, with an ability to influence at the executive level.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
