As a Regulatory Insights Manager, you will maintain strong alignment with Government Affairs, Legal, Commercial and Operations teams to ensure our response to evolving global regulatory requirements are proactive, data driven and effectively communicated across stakeholders at Expedia Group. You will collaborate with global Legal and Government Affairs teams to identify regulatory trends and understand the impact of existing and future regulatory requirements. The team will utilize these findings to help develop business cases to prioritize new capabilities at Expedia Group that would reduce risk and protect revenue.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate across multiple teams at Expedia Group including Government Affairs, Legal, Product, Operations and other relevant teams to analyze risk and drive successful regulatory outcomes.

  • Work cross-functionally to gather & synthesize relevant data to develop recommendations on global regulations that align with company-wide strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain a high attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize multiple, contending priorities simultaneously

  • Frame regulatory impact and opportunities in a structured, analytical way to clearly communicate options, risks, and trade-offs to leadership.

Who you are:

  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills and an ability to translate metrics, research and trends into viable recommendations. Proven experience working with Tableau and SQL desired.

  • Experience with end-to-end management and ownership of high-priority initiatives and comfortable working on multiple initiatives concurrently.

  • Fast learner and self-starter, comfortable working in ambiguity, with strong strategic and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to make sound business decisions by combining several factors to arrive at the best outcome for a given situation; ability to create a compelling narrative using data and insights and share with a broader audience

  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate issues and influence others, including experience communicating complex information to senior leaders

  • Experience working cross-culturally with ability to adapt personal style to different teams, environments, and time zones
