Sr. Manager, Executive Partner Engagement
Introduction to the Team
The Sr. Manager, Executive Partner Engagement will play a driving role in defining and managing Expedia's executive-level relationship initiatives in our Travel Partnerships and Advertising business. This individual will assist in creating and implementing impactful partner engagement strategies, aligning partner priorities with Expedia's insights and objectives. Serving as a central point for engagement opportunities, they will help streamline the flow of information pre- and post- Engagement, event prioritization, and proactive relationship management. Additionally, this role will collaborate closely with internal account teams and executive stakeholders, fostering meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships that drive strategic growth and deepen partner connections.
In this role, you will:
Support the design and execution of executive relationship strategy, focusing on lifecycle alignment, event prioritization, and senior-level negotiation activities.
Facilitate the creation and implementation of partner-centric programs such as tailored roundtables, roadshows, and strategic event attendance aligned with Expedia's business objectives.
Manage and maintain centralized partner data, including executive interactions, milestones, and engagement metrics, to enhance proactive relationship management.
Track and report business impact, monitoring engagement ROI and account activity before and after strategic executions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with account teams to align engagement strategies with account plans, market priorities, and overall relationship standings.
Support TPA invitations and coordinate processes for EG events, ensuring seamless operational execution.
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in partner engagement, executive relationship management, strategic marketing, or related leadership roles.
Successful track record of delivering impactful executive-level programs and engagements with measurable commercial impact.
Strong, proven experience utilizing CRM/database platforms and analytics tools to measure, interpret, and report business impact and partner engagement ROI.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, demonstrated through prior expertise working across multiple internal teams and with senior external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline required
Familiarity and experience within the travel, hospitality, online services industry strongly preferred.
Business Acumen: Ability to rapidly comprehend Expedia’s business objectives, market positioning, and competitive landscape, ensuring engagement strategies are aligned for mutual benefit.
Demonstrates nuanced understanding of partner business models, strategic objectives, and industry dynamics.
Executive Communications: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills tailored for senior executive audiences.
Ability to articulate complex strategies and insights in a compelling way that resonates with executive-level stakeholders.
Events Programming: Experienced in curating impactful events (e.g., workshops, executive roundtables, roadshows) with optimal engagement-producing outcomes.
Experience in delivering and managing complex program plans to drive defined outcomes and iterate for improvement over time.
Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills to cultivate, manage, and deepen executive-level relationships.
Strong emotional intelligence to diagnose relationship health and proactively address challenges and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Capability to influence and align various internal business units toward shared goals and strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively to drive organizational alignment and partner engagement objectives through effective communication and leadership.
