Senior Manager, Global Immigration & Mobility
Please note this role is based in Seattle and follows our flexible work model, requiring a minimum of three in-office days per week.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Global Immigration & Mobility, to lead and evolve Expedia Group’s global mobility and immigration programs. This role is pivotal in designing and executing policies and processes that enable global talent movement while ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and an exceptional employee experience.
This position reports to the Sr. Director for Global Compensation and is a part of the Global Total Rewards organization and will collaborate closely with stakeholders across HR, Legal, Tax, Total Rewards, and third-party vendors.
In this role, you will:
Policy Design & Governance
Develop and implement a best-in-class Mobility & Immigration policy framework that is aligned with market practices and supports Expedia Group’s business and talent strategy.
Ensure policies are adaptable across geographies and business lines while maintaining compliance and cost efficiency.
Program Leadership
Oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of immigration and mobility programs globally.
Align program goals with Expedia Group's strategic workforce objectives and ensure seamless integration with other HR programs.
Cross-Functional Integration
Partner with internal teams such as Global Talent Acquisition (GTA), Mobility Tax, Total Rewards, and Global Employment Organization (GEO) to ensure end-to-end integration of mobility and immigration processes.
Proactively identify and resolve workflow gaps or inefficiencies.
Vendor & Partner Management
Manage external vendors providing immigration and mobility services.
Monitor service delivery, ensure performance against defined KPIs/SLAs, and provide structured feedback to drive quality and consistency.
Team Leadership & Delivery
Lead and inspire high-performing teams across Mobility and Immigration, ensuring goals and priorities are clearly defined, tracked, and delivered.
Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Experience and qualifications:
8+ years of experience in global mobility and/or immigration management within a large multinational environment.
Proven experience developing and managing global policy frameworks and cross-border assignments.
Strong understanding of global immigration laws, tax implications, and international relocation processes.
Demonstrated success managing external vendors and internal stakeholder relationships across multiple regions.
Prior experience with integration across HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Tax, Rewards, etc.) is highly desirable.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
