Digital Media Manager

We create and deliver an aligned, dedicated marketing strategy to fuel each Expedia Group brand's success. Since our travellers interact with us through our brands, we have a brand focus in our marketing, while leveraging the scale and efficiency we’ve built in functional expertise.

We are looking for a curious, creative, and growth-oriented digital media professional to join Expedia Group’s in-house media team, leading omnichannel digital media activations for Hotels.com

Reporting to the Hotels.com digital media lead, you will own the planning, activation, and vendor relationships across key digital channels You will be a high-performing individual contributor who consistently applies and enhances media planning and buying capabilities, with the ability to operate largely independently and mentor junior colleagues

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement effective digital media plans to drive profitable short- and long-term objectives in response to media briefs from stakeholders across the broader marketing organization

  • Build strong working relationships with key digital media partners to develop effective plans, improve media efficiency, and identify impactful partnership opportunities

  • Identify testing opportunities by experimenting with new and existing digital partners You should be comfortable presenting learnings to stakeholders, making recommendations, and acting on insights

  • Manage hands-on media activation via programmatic platforms (The Trade Desk, Google Ads, Meta) and optimize campaigns to achieve performance goals

  • Produce trafficking sheets for campaign launches in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality and accurate ad delivery

  • Partner with Analytics to build measurement plans and capabilities that evaluate the business impact of media activations

  • Provide timely and accurate inputs for key media planning artifacts, including strategy documents, media plans, and spec sheets

  • Support and mentor junior colleagues, specifically the Senior Media Specialist on the Hotels.com team

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media roles within media agencies, trading desks, or in-house teams

  • Experience planning and buying digital media across channels, including Connected TV, YouTube, Paid Social, Digital Audio, and Programmatic Display & Video

  • Hands-on experience with programmatic platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360, Google Ads)

  • Experience managing large budgets, multiple markets, and various metrics while collaborating across teams

  • Proficiency in taking media briefs, managing and optimizing campaigns, and reporting on effectiveness and efficiency

  • Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and work collaboratively with multiple team members and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and practices (preferred)

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
