Account Manager
Introduction to The Team:
Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We open up our supply and innovative technology to businesses looking to take on the world of travel. These businesses, sometimes referred to as our ‘demand partners’, include global financial institutions (e.g. AMEX), corporate managed travel, offline travel agents (e.g. Flight Centre), global travel suppliers (e.g. Delta) and many more.

As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of partnerships within the Americas Region analyzing business and operational performance to find opportunities for optimization and growth.

In This Role You Will:
For each partnership, you’ll drive the entirety of the relationship, collaborating with multiple accounts and partners to understand company needs and vision, and working with Expedia’s outstanding internal business partners in commercial, product, customer service, technology, marketing, and accounting to translate that to growth for both parties
Use your insight, industry expertise, and influence to get buy-in from both internal and external decision-makers on ways to grow partnerships for the long term. This could include new product offerings, supply expansion, market expansion, commercial incentives, and more
Analyze and report on performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly to spot trends, find opportunities and issues, and gain new insight into the partnership
Conduct regular face-to-face visits and weekly calls to strengthen your partnerships, identify joint opportunities, and stay current on business trends
Build unique commercial incentives and proposals to increase our share of wallet and negotiate amendments to existing agreements
Serve as a point of contact for Expedia's business units, providing outstanding customer service through timely, high-quality issue resolution both internally and externally
Grasp the “big” picture for PLS, our business, and the partner, using your influence and expertise to support the success of both parties
Experience and Qualifications:
A self-starter who likes to figure things out on their own and can cut through complexity to achieve results
You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills that allow you to get your point across clearly and concisely on complex issues
Self-aware, with a growth mindset, you are someone who both seeks and implements feedback
Someone who takes pride in delivering quality work, with a record of consistently achieving results, measuring them, and doing it again to continuously improve
Highly organized, you consistently and effectively prioritize. You know how to create and execute plans of action to achieve goals
A strong relationship builder who understands give and take and always seeks the win/win in partnerships
Experience and interest in working cross-functionally and with global teams
Proven track record in influencing multiple partners to get things done
Flexibility to a constantly evolving environment
Excellent judgment through sound, well-informed decision-making
Willingness to travel for partner meetings
Preferred background in b2b technology, online travel or airline/hotel supplier, sales/account management, consulting
Bachelor’s degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or related field preferred, or equivalent related professional experience
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
