GEO Strategy Senior Manager
Introduction to Team:
Expedia has an incredible opportunity for a GEO Strategy Senior Manager in the Traveler Global Markets team. The Global Markets team is dedicated to identifying and implementing the strategic direction to drive growth in Expedia Group’s non-US points of sale
Make an Impact:
As the GEO Strategy Senior Manager for the Global Markets team at Expedia Group, you will own critical initiatives across multiple brands and markets, advancing our business objectives. You will design and implement operational frameworks and processes that optimize efficiency and drive revenue growth. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will foster alignment, lead program management efforts, and champion improvements
In this role, you will:
Strategic Planning: Identify strategic issues, helping stakeholders explore and understand the challenge, and defining objectives aligned them with the company's strategy; builds insights and develops plans to drive revenue growth for the business
Marketing Support: Support marketing channels cross brand and cross market to drive alignment, decision making, planning & execution
Retail Promotions: Manage promotional calendars and execute travel-related marketing campaigns at the regional and individual market level, working cross-functionally to facilitate customization aligned to local travel moments
Project Management: Provide leadership for strategic and ad-hoc global market initiatives, translating strategy into actionable plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and mitigating risks
Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and designing new procedures to streamline operations & maximize efficiencies
Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders, managing expectations, and communicating program progress effectively
Experience and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
Experience: 8+ years for Bachelor's; 6+ years for Master’s
Experience in ecommerce, marketplace travel or hospitality industry is desirable
Excellent leadership and coordination abilities, capable of aligning cross-functional teams towards shared goals
Strategic thinker with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
Establishes working relationships with stakeholders and builds rapport to become a trusted advisor.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior (VP+) leadership, influencing at all levels of the organization
Effectively manages multiple priorities and complex workflows
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management experience to plan, execute, and monitor operational projects
Collaborative demeanor with a history of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Dallas is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
