Technical Program Manager -III

The EG Affiliates Team is looking for a highly motivated TPM to join our Gurgaon team to help build out exciting and innovative initiatives and products for the One Affiliate Platform. The potential candidate will be eager to take on challenges and support the team in meeting our ambitious goals.


We are looking for someone who can drive increasingly complex technical projects requiring coordination within an organization, across functions and across the globe. To proactively identify & mitigate risks to ensure success of the program.

What you'll do:

  • You will participate in the software development lifecycle and how various agile engineering practices can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing)

  • You will decide when to apply agile methodologies vs. traditional methodologies to achieve the best development outcome

  • You will develop project schedules, define timeframes and prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives within the agreed timeframes and ensuring that requirements are completed

  • You will keep relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule

  • You will lead proactive risk management, working with the team to anticipate new risks and mitigation planning

  • You will lead increasingly complex technical projects with some supervised work on ambiguous adaptive programs

  • You will coordinate bringing together different stakeholders with varied perspectives to develop solutions to issues and contributes your own suggestions

  • You will assist with a whole systems approach to analyzing issues by ensuring all components (structure, people, process and technology) are identified and accounted for

  • You will think holistically to identify opportunities around policies/processes to increase efficiency across organizational boundaries

  • You will demonstrate the ability to confidently deliver on parts of the product development lifecycle

  • You will support and facilitate conversations regarding product development lifecycle with other teams

  • You will gain stakeholder trust by effectively addressing their concerns to further long-term interests

  • You will help customers explore and understand their wider business challenges in the context of the project/program

  • You will make suggestions for solutions to business process improvements taking into consideration EG’s objectives and challenges

  • You will guide the organization through program delivery and outcomes

  • You will comprehend and understand of complex information (e.g., legal, operational risk, and regulatory data) and impact to the business by correctly and clearly answering routine questions

  • You will consider and understand the audience’s specific needs and comprehension level to determine the most appropriate message and delivery method, limiting or explaining technical language

  • You will communicate technical and business concepts confidently to mid-level management

Who you are:

  • 5+ years driving technical projects with software development teams in an agile environment

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • Strong Program Management skills including experience with Agile and Scrum Practices

  • Demonstrates a critical understanding of functional information (e.g., legal, data/metrics, and technical information) and is able to accurately answer relevant questions

  • Communicates a compelling rationale and narrative to peers and partners

  • Experience tailoring communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate

  • Actively seeks diverse feedback on work and anticipates feedback to address it proactively

  • Delivery of a minimum of 3-4 large, multi-functional programs

  • Excellent interpersonal and interpersonal skills

  • AWS/Cloud and Database knowledge is a plus

  • Experience with CI/CD framework and related tools, cloud computing, traffic management, and analysis, project management tools, web technologies and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)

  • Experience collaborating with Developers, Technical Product Managers, UX Designers, Product Managers and other team members from broad cross-sections of the organization

  • Experience using tools like Jira and Confluence for agile project management and reporting
