Senior Insights & Activation Manager
The Traveler Business Team has a mission to deliver the most convenient, rewarding, and memorable ways for people to travel and explore the world. This division has responsibility to build and drive the growth of our global consumer business across our Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and Portfolio brands, and across all our lines of businesses including Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Air, Car, Packages, and Insurtech.

Do you enjoy applying marketing insights, principles, and playbooks to solve complex business issues and opportunities?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Insights & Activations Manger to join our Global Markets team in Canada.
In this role, you will:
Identify opportunities through customer and market insights to grow share for the Canadian point-of-sale
Build meaningful insights and recommendations that drive localized strategies to reach growth targets for Expedia, Hotels.com & Vrbo Canada
Devise methods and procedures for building (re)allocation recommendations at a POSa level for multiple channels to drive performance
Demonstrate understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions to drive projects and analyses that support the organization’s mission
Work on customizing local market email campaigns and regional sales
Monitor performance of the CA POSa providing regular trading updates and find business opportunities to correct performance
Collaborate regularly with stakeholders to optimize supply competitiveness in key travel corridors
Ensure brand marketing activities are locally relevant (brand localization, marketing briefs, sales campaigns, messaging, imagery, destinations, etc.)
Generate customer (traveler), partner (supplier), market & competitor insights for regional stakeholders
Monitor the macro environment, including market trends and tracking local competitors
Create clear, concise, and organized communication materials to be presented to key stakeholders and leadership (e.g., reports, dashboards, presentations, messages)
Experience and qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Distills data-driven insight into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
Deep analytical skills to analyse and build accurate estimates for different metrics (Spend, Revenue, transactions, GP, etc.) for multiple Marketing Channels
Supports stakeholders to clarify and simplify their requests
Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Expert skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
