We are looking for a dynamic, motivated leader to join our Expedia Trips team for the Car line of business at Expedia Group. This role will be responsible for identifying direction to drive growth and optimize business results for our cars line of business for Expedia.com.

You will drive line of business P&L performance and key metrics, identify growth opportunities, recommend investment optimizations and work across functional teams to grow the business.
This requires a leader that is curious, fearless and has a strong bias to action and delivers results. You will have regular and frequent interaction with senior leadership across the organization and will need to maintain strong alignment and cross functional partnerships to ensure that the overall cars line of business is well planned, understood, communicated, and effectively executed.
What you’ll do:
- Drive and monitor P&L performance for the Expedia.com Cars line of business to deliver annual plan
- Define and execute overall strategy in close coordination with marketing, supply and product & tech teams
- Identify growth opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, and lead cross functional teams across Expedia Group to enable execution for successful outcomes (e.g. optimizing cross channel investment strategy to align profitability with growth and marketplace needs)
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Business Management, Economics) or MBA preferred; or equivalent in related professional experience
- 10+ years of business management, ecommerce, strategy, and P&L management experience
- Innovative and strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to solutions: prior experiences tackling vague problems, crisply framing the challenges, identifying a path forward, and driving execution to the finish line
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence and align stakeholders to achieve successful business outcomes without direct organizational authority
- Motivated by goal achievement and continuous improvement, with enthusiasm and strive to motivate your team and the wider organization
- Curious and passionate, with a desire to continuously learn more, which you use to understand business operations and the levers that drive profitable growth
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $196,000.00 to $274,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $313,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $197,000.00 to $275,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $315,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
